		<description>Hi Alan,

I am currently based in Guatemala conducting research for a documentary focusing on Mayan communities of the Huehuetenango region. I am interested in visiting the Marlin open cast gold mine but am concerned about accessibility and safety. If there is any information you could provide as to who to approach before visiting the site or contacts working in the region I would be most grateful.

If you require and further information regarding the project please do not hesitate to contact me.

  Best Wishes,

     Richard</description>
